A Recipe for Snickerdoodles

I know I've been gone a long time, so here's a recipe so you can eat your sorrows away.
Snickerdoodles Cookies: Best served with extra cinnamon and sugar.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon-Sugar mixture:
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla thoroughly
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl
- Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture
- If dough is very soft, chill for 10-15 minutes
- Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Form small balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until slightly golden and still soft in the middle.
